As we journey through seasons, and around bends in the road, never seeing what is ahead, anxious for what tomorrow may bring, we sometimes grow weary. Life is so often filled with a mixture of hard work and events that are beyond our understanding that we may become overwhelmed along the journey trying to sort through all that is in our day and dwelling on all that is so very much out of our control regarding our tomorrows.
The God of all Creation who made the world and all that is in it is a God of order and He can be trusted to direct our steps. His order begins with us knowing Him as Savior and then seeking Him first in our day and in all things, as we live our life one day at a time and use the Scriptures to guide us one day at a time, showing us who He is, where to go, and how to get there....like a intricate map laid out before us.
A surrendered heart is a life that is placed in His hands and on the pathway of faith learning and believing that the Lord's thoughts are not our thoughts, nor His ways our ways.
Although our circumstances may appear hopeless at times as we come to each bend on the road traveled with our next step unseen....this does not need to speak disaster for us if we become still, trust the Lord and wait patiently on Him. We will witness His great power at work and as we look back we will 'remember His marvelous works He did' ...... it is in this place that He has appointed that we let the Lord accomplish His glorious purpose in our lives.
Along our journey we may stumble, He will pick us up. We may not see what is ahead; but He is the God Who Sees. We may fail, but He cannot. So as we continue on this new day let us allow Him to use His Words to speak to us and fill our hearts with great hope for the journey He has prepared for us until we are Home....."one day at a time" . God can be trusted and how He is waiting this day to speak to our hearts, may we hear.
