Never miss an update

Welcome...

In 1987, I first surrendered myself to the Lord and gave Him control of my life. Over the last several years, His Wisdom has built my heart, my life, and our home.... and He continues to do so.

Through the last 36 years, it has been an amazing journey as I have been greatly blessed to be a Daughter of the King, a wife, Pastor's wife, mother, grandmother, empty-nester of 12 years. The Lord has given my husband and I many amazing year together through all our trials, testings and the many blessings as we learned and grew together in Christ. Through the many years we experienced God's faithfulness to us. My prayer is that this work will continue as I strive to serve the Lord each day in the ministry He has given me and encourage others around me to do the same.

Through the past years, the Lord has led my husband and our family each step of the way- taking us to "foreign lands" in our spiritual walk and asking us to go to places unknown & unseen- only to depend on Him & His bare Word.

Through each day & each step of the way, He has been by our side, offering us His loving presence and His steady, unwavering strength through His Word.

I continue to experience His amazing grace in all forms as needed and His loving mercy for each new day as I lean on His promises. My journey continues....

My beloved husband of 36 years, Pastor, father, papa, and friend to all, went home to be with the Lord on July 4, 2018. A day representing his freedom, with trumpets blowing and a coronation given, filling his soul with great glory as he heard the words "Well done, good and faithful servant". He would want you to know Heaven is coming again and would like to take you also. Randy's desire was for us all to "know Christ and to make Him known." That is the heart of this blog. Randy's promise to me is that "God's good will come through this all." He endured the past 10 months of illness as "Jesus endured the cross that was set before Him for the joy that was to come."

As we experienced the hard, unexpected side of life, we came to know Christ more. It's through the many trials and times of suffering that we truly experience Him in a greater way as Paul wrote, "that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings" Philippians 3:10. Through it all, we have experienced first hand, God's resplendent glory & brilliance, continually witnessing His promise that "He will never leave us nor forsake us." Randy always said through it all that "God is going to do something good Michelle." Many of you are part of that good in what God is doing in my life as well as the good God is doing in your own lives as it was our prayer each day of our lives to touch others with the love of Christ. It too was our prayer each day over that last 10 months to bring God glory as we desired that He use whatever He allowed to come into our lives to give back to Him and touch your lives with the love of Christ and share His message of Redemption for the world.

Jesus is always enough I have learned. His provisions & promises are All Sufficient as His name Jehovah means "All Sufficient One". He proves Himself each new day to be so faithful & trustworthy. Even today, as I pen these words, I trust that He is fully able to lead me through each new day on my continued journey.

I am praying for each of you. I pray you are encouraged and greatly blessed each new day in your time in His Word as you "listen, watch and wait daily for Him" through the wisdom of His Word. May He continue to draw you with His loving-kindness....and may these devotions through this blog be just a garnish in your great feast of God's Word.

"Blessed is the {woman} who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting beside my doors. For whoever finds me finds life and obtains favor from the Lord." Proverbs 8:34-35

In His Everlasting Love, Michelle
